Refund Policy

General Terms

Codex Key operates on a prepaid model — users top up their token balance and spend it as they use the API. Refunds of an unused balance are possible under the conditions described below.

When Refunds Are Available

1) Payment was made by mistake (duplicate, wrong amount) — refund is available within 14 days of payment, provided the balance has not been spent. 2) A significant Service outage caused by us led to loss of tokens or inability to make requests for more than 24 hours. 3) A billing error on our side resulted in incorrect token deductions. In this case we refund tokens to the balance, or money on request.

When Refunds Are Not Available

Refunds are not provided in the following cases: — The balance has already been used to make API requests. — More than 14 days have passed since the top-up. — The account was suspended for a violation of the Public Offer. — The outage was caused by user actions or third-party services (failed proxy, incorrect client configuration, etc.). — Exchange-rate losses for cross-currency refunds — converted by the official rate on the refund date.

How to Request a Refund

Send an email to support@codexkey.ru with the subject "Refund". Include: your account email, payment date and amount, the payment provider's transaction id, and the refund reason. We review refund requests within 5 business days.

Refund Method

Refunds are issued via the same method used for the original payment. Processing time depends on the payment provider and typically takes 3 to 14 business days. Any refund fees charged by the payment provider are deducted from the refunded amount.

Cryptocurrency Payments

Refunds for cryptocurrency payments are sent to the same wallet the payment originated from. The refund amount is fixed in USD as of the original payment date; the crypto amount is recalculated at the rate on the refund date. Network fees are deducted from the refunded amount.
